Personal Support

Personal Supports enable elderly persons or people living with disability to complete day to day tasks and activities, at home, at school or work and in the community.


What is personal support?

Generally personal support services include a range of activities to support daily living such as :

  • Hygiene, grooming and dressing activities

  • Support to complete therapy and exercise programs

  • Meal preparation and support with eating and drinking

  • Support with continence management and equipment

  • Support to utilise aids and equipment such as hoists and wheelchairs

  • Community outings and appointments, accessing leisure and vocational activities

  • Support with domestic and  household tasks like cleaning


Our specialized support team will :

  •     Help with bathing

  •     Assist with dressing

  •     Provide grooming

  •     Help with incontinence care, dementia care, alzheimer care, respite care, convalescent care

  •     Assist with eating

  •     Provide medication reminders

  •     Assist with morning/wake up, get up of the bed help

  •     Assist with evening/tuck in, get in bed help

Note: Domestic support / cleaning services can be provided separately to personal care services


 Specialised Support

  • Rehabilitation program supports

  • Individualised support to people living with disability and medical conditions such as epilepsy, asthma or diabetes, or needing supports .

  • Individualised support to people needing advance care support.

  • Supervision/assistance taking prescribed medication ( Please take note: We don`t provide medication administration services)


Advanced companionship Services:

  • Offer companionship and conversation at any hour

  • Arrange appointments

  • Help with travel arrangements

  • Escort to appointments at any hour

  • Assist with clothing selection

  • Assist with entertaining

  • Help with reading

  • Escort or help in hobbies and crafts

  • Monitor diet and eating

  • Buy magazines, papers and books

  • Rent and play films ( We can provide all the equipment for free: LED Projector, Lcd Flat Screen Tv, audio system, cabling, etc.) The logistics will be transported and provided free at any location

  • Plan visits, outings, trips or holidays of any length or distance ( Holidays will be charged at a very convenient daily rate, and includes  (if needed) company car usage gas and as many carers as needed

  • Visit neighbours and friends at any hour

  • Accompany to lunch or dinner at any hour

  • Attend plays or concerts at any hour

  • Attend club meetings and sporting events at any hour

  • Other types of participation in activities and community access or in social and community activitie

  • Full support in places such as your workplace / school    


   Home and community support programs work best when everyone is clear about roles and responsibilities. Before we start providing services we will complete a support plan with you to make sure that:

  • We understand and discuss your preferences and choices about what, how and when support services will suit you the best

  • We are aware of any specific health conditions that may impact on your support and staff.

  • The home and other known work environments are safe for both you and staff.

  • To make sure people get the best possible supports, we reference any plans that may have been developed previously with funding bodies, specialist or general health and / or allied health professionals, and other service providers.

  • Individual support plans are reviewed and evaluated with you at regular intervals.

  • Your team will communicate and work with you to ensure our services continue supporting you in the best possible way
